I remember this was a quite useful one to have around. I'll start it off with something that will be impossible to find - a Whataburger sponsor patch from the 2000-01 Houston Aeros.

That one is not great. It should have unfinished edges, that’s off right away.
There was an IJ member who had some replicas made years back, but he’s been MIA for quite some time. I reached out to him for that very reason a month or two ago and he never responded.
We used to talk all the time, I hope he is ok.

I saw one of his listings on eBay a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully that means he’s OK, even if he may no longer be interested in maintaining contact with former IJ members.
Edit: Please ignore this post, as I’m confusing this eBay user with someone else.

Yeah, the edges is what stood out immediately but there isnt much out there that I could find. Hopefully something better turns up soon.

The photo of that 10th patch on a jersey I believe was taken from a gamer while the other photo is the one he is selling. If you look closely, you can see they are different. Personally, I never get the warm and fuzzies when a seller is using photos of a similar, but not exact item that they are selling.
The one that the former IJ one was selling was pretty spot on IIRC. Shame he is just no longer around.

Yeah, the unfortunate part is I think I saw a much better reproduction like a month or so ago on ebay but didnt pull the trigger. I dont see it on the sold page so Im guessing the seller just pulled it down.

The one that the former IJ one was selling was pretty spot on IIRC. Shame he is just no longer around. I was his “second set of eyes” on that project. We took the proofs the embroiderer would make and scrutinized them endlessly to get them as close as possible. It took weeks and weeks of back and forth. If I knew where he had them done, I would get more made.

If I knew where he had them done, I would get more made. Does “The Studio” ring a bell? I may be mistaken, but for some reason I thought he might have said he got them done at the same place that I used for a project.

I’m not sure I ever knew the name of the place.

I’m not sure I ever knew the name of the place. I saved this image from a long time ago and believe it’s the one Dan had made up: flic.kr/p/2jmo22pThe grid looks just like the one used by The Studio on my projects. Do you recognize this type of grid when you were working on the edits? flic.kr/p/2jmo1bM

Could be. I can’t say for sure. If you have a contact I would be happy to reach out and find out.

I don't have a direct contact, but the company's URL is simply www.thestudio.com. Should be enough info there to make an inquiry. I would say now that I'm reasonably sure that's where Dan had the patches made up.
