He played his first two USHL seasons for the Des Moines Buccaneers and I was never able to get one of his jerseys. When he got traded to the Gamblers I told myself I’d stop at nothing to get one. It’s tough when the team isn’t local. A lot of these junior teams have in-arena auctions so it’s mostly STHs that get them. Justin actually tipped me off to one of their auctions a while ago so I had an alert setup for all future Gamblers auctions. When I told his dad I got it, he was so happy. He’s a proud hockey dad as it is, but knowing that other people are taking an interest in his son makes it all the better. Now I just gotta find a way to get one of his Penn State jerseys in the next few years! |

awesome, these are the cool ones in the collection with a story and some meaning. I figured there’d be a little background on tracking this down. Good on ya hope you get a Penn State one in time.

These K1 jerseys are pretty cool. The material is very heavy. It's like ultrafil. Feels almost identical to the Edge Xtrafil material they used on the sleeves for the Edge 2.0 and the whole Edge 3.0 practice jerseys. Very cool story! Also love the all ultrafil-like jersey. I really liked the x-trafil shoulders/elbows on EDGE 1.0 and had always wished there was a full x-trafil jersey. Would have likely eclipsed early 90's ultrafils as my favorite design since I prefer the cut of EDGE.

Nope, you’re still right. 1.0/2.0 and 3.0 practice jerseys all had x-trafil arms (sleeves and shoulders). I was just relating that material more to the 1.0 game jerseys most people are probably familiar with

My Flyers 2.0s have air knit/stretch mesh sleeves but my jersey fabric knowledge doesn’t extend much past that. So maybe some 2.0s still used Xtrafil.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I think this guy should win the Hart.  Posting from Flickr requires you to use the BBCode, which is not available on their App. You need a third party app that can generate it. Or, on a desktop, you can get it on Flickr’s website. Unfortunate limitation of this free board, one I’m going to investigate further to see if I can fix it. EDIT: This issue has been fully discussed on ProBoards' support forums. As Flickr mobile links do not end in a photo extension (.jpg, .bmp, etc), they cannot be automatically embedded here. |

Haven't had much in the way of pickups lately, but here's a project I just had finished. 2019 MIC WC practice jersey   Removed the crest from an Indo practice jersey, stripped a MIC practice jersey, had CSL do up the numbers and sew all the patches on. Only black and white jerseys were available at retail, while the players only wore black and red. Figured the red is much more unique and rare. Love the way it turned out |
