Seeing some of these collections is making me feel better about my collection being "too much", heh heh.
Love the Clark jersey on the first page...those 70s-80s Maple Leafs jerseys have always been among my all-time faves. Love the Royal Blue, the thick sleeve stripes with the maple left sewn in, and the overall very clean look of those. Even the boldface font of the nameplates just looks right. I would love to see those come back someday.
Just picked up a white game-issued Jack Hughes (off Meigray)...wasn't cheap, but as some Devils fans know, there's no way to get a legit authentic Adidas jersey off the rack...the "authentics" (or what passes for them) that are made available to fans are not terribly close to the on-ice product, and just don't fit "right" by comparison. Admittedly I'm not a fan of the Adidas Devils jerseys to begin with (I would welcome a return to the now "old" red-and-blacks in a heartbeat, or something similar), but I like the current Adidas whites better than the reds, and considering what Hughes game-worns go for, this was a chance to snag a "he could actually wear this" Hughes for a fraction of the game-worn cost. So a very pricey authentic in the end, but at least it's fully legit.
Gotta get my collection up here one of these days...
