Woah LAK, nice Oilers...
Speaking of Oilers jerseys from that era. What would you consider one of those worth if it were authentic and blank?

I could be wrong about this, but I don’t know if it would even be possible to find an authentic blank. From what I’ve heard, Nike provided the Oilers with only a limited supply of these. None were available for retail. I’ve never even seen a blank. Supposedly the Oilers took whatever leftover jerseys they had, whether they were used or not, and had the official team customizer (Alberta Crest Art, or whatever their name was) letter them up with Gretzky or some other top player, and sold them as authentic replicas. I’ve seen a few of these sold for over $1500 more recently, but many years ago they probably didn’t fetch as much. So I’m not really sure at all what a blank might be worth, if indeed one even exists.

It's no vintage Oilers gamer like that impressive Carson from above but I am quite happy to add this to the PC. Had to part with a pair of jerseys I didn't really want to give up but that's the way she goes. It's only GI but that means I can wear it without as much worry.

My latest game worn pickup, a Nike 1988/89 Jimmy Carson
I read Jimmy but my brane heard Johnny Carson? HIYOOOOOOO! That's a great pick up and yeah, I was crushed when I saw the IJ was gone for good before I could save some contact info I had saved on there. It's really good to see all the old gang coming here. Sad how much work and information was lost when the IJ boards went down but we can rebuild.

This very French Canadian piece came in today. Celebrating Rocket Richard and St.Hubert's Poutine! It's my first quicklite and it's very much like an Adidas MIC. I think I might like the St. Hubert's patch better than the jersey. The fonts are pretty neat with this one, but I'll have to pay a setup fee with Keener to create the fonts.] I love the Rockets’ kits. So many awesome little details on the jersey and even their socks! Bummed I never pulled the trigger on the previous CCM versions as I’m not a fan of the new CCM jerseys

I think I like them better than the adidas cut. Same material though.

I've seen pics of the kits then and they had the extra white inner lining of the numbers like the Blue Jays baseball team has in their kits. I'm also no expert on the AHL, but were the Rockets wearing a different style of CCM jersey back in 2017? Like pre-Quicklite? I really like this one, it's like an Adidas MIC, but I'm interested to know what the CCMs prior were like? I have a 2015 style CCM coming so I'll probably get a look at one soon.

Before the Quicklite jerseys were introduced, the AHL was wearing EDGE jerseys under the CCM branding. This is obviously before Adidas sold CCM. For me, personally, I just dislike all the screen printed logos on the Quicklite jerseys. The CCM logo on the top of the neck, the pointless stripes underneath it, the random material patch they're screened onto (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dli9_w0XgAAt5mQ?format=jpg&name=large), the logo on the rear hem, and the faux carbon collars. Screen printed/plastic stuff never lasts especially when compared to stitching. When I look at jerseys in my collection that are nearly 30 years old and in amazing condition, there's no way screen printed jerseys will hold up as well.

Just kind of turned my sights on maybe an early 80s blue Oilers Gretzky, but still learning the intricacies. Love the old mesh jerseys and also durene. Trying to figure out realistic expectations.

A couple packages found their way from the USA to me in Canada. Thanks to furiousd for one package and to EPS for the other. I believe all the work in this post was done by EPS Size 54 2014 Heritage Classic - was never big on Karlsson but I love this design along with the Millionaires look. 2014 HC was a winner in my eyes. Size 54 Forsberg Rookie 94-95 with correct born on tag Size 52 Bondra Rookie 90-91

Very nice vintage jerseys, and that Ottawa style is one of my favorite non-Devils jerseys.
